My client is an emerging name in the beauty industry, renowned for their innovative products and commitment to excellence. They are passionate about creating biological beauty products that inspire and empower their customers. As they continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing and Logistic Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing Coordination:

  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and emerging suppliers.

Logistics Management:

  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of international incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transportation companies to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Handle documentation related to imports, exports, and customs clearance.
  • Track shipments and address any issues that arise to ensure smooth operations.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the production, marketing, and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing and logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.
  • Experience with raising and managing purchase orders.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and advanced functions.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
