Tony Alan Recruitment is currently recruiting an exciting job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join an established SME business in the Worthing area on a permanent basis.
Your duties will include:
- Process invoices and accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare and submit various reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Manage accounts receivable, including sending statements and following up on outstanding payments
- Credit Control
- Assist with monthly customer billing
Key Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (or relevant coursework)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- AAT highly desirable but not essential
