Location: Gravesend
Salary: £7.55-£10.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, temporary (July-September, flexible around term-time commitments)
Contract: Summer role (approx. 8-10 weeks)
About the role
We are a specialist financial services business supporting the property and bridging finance sector. Over the busy summer period, we're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Summer Administrative Assistant to join our team on a short-term basis. This role is ideal for a recent school leaver or university student seeking hands-on office experience within financial services.
You will support the wider team with a variety of admin and data tasks, including helping prepare for a compliance audit. You will also assist with day-to-day administrative duties across different departments, giving you excellent exposure to how a finance business operates.
What you'll be doing
- General administration and document handling
- Tracking and obtaining data from internal systems
- Using Excel to maintain and update records
- Assisting with document requests and collation for compliance/audit purposes
- Supporting other departments with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Learning about key finance and legal processes in a professional environment
What we're looking for
- A student or school leaver (aged 18+) available during summer holidays
- Confident using Excel and general computer systems
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Professional and willing to learn
- An interest in finance, law, or accounting is a plus
- Flexible and happy to turn their hand to different admin tasks
