My client is a multi-sector practice, that truly values its employees working in one of the best Chester City Centre offices. They now seek a dynamic and committed Senior Family Solicitor to head up their close-knit team. This is an unmissable chance for a driven solicitor with over 4 years PQE to take a leading role in a family department.

The Role

This opportunity is for an experienced solicitor with expertise covering the full private family law spectrum and leadership attributes to pursue an exciting role as Head of Department.

You will be expected to:

  • Handling and managing your own caseload of a range of family matters including but not limited to Divorce, financial applications from start to finish, including drafting legal documents and attending court hearings
  • Negotiating settlements and agreements for clients
  • Building and maintaining positive professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
  • A good understanding of business development and managing departmental finances.
  • Work towards and meeting chargeable and billing targets
  • Any prior experience with managing and mentoring a team would be advantageous.

Minimum Requirements

  • Solicitor or CILEX qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting chargeable and billing targets
  • Possess business acumen and a proactive approach to networking
  • Resilient attitude with an openness to adapt to change
  • Leadership experience preferred
