Position Overview
Moonrise are seeking an experienced and proactive Healthcare Partnerships Manager to join the business based at head office in Stockton-on-Tees. The role will involve occasional travel across the UK to visit existing and new customers as the business requires. This crucial role involves managing and growing the NHS contract that the business has secured, with a focus on expanding across the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing new business via the NHS framework in hospitals and independent social care healthcare facilities. This position presents an exciting opportunity to play a key role in Moonrise's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
NHS Framework Management
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the existing NHS contracts
- Ensure contract compliance and delivery of services as per agreed terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key NHS stakeholders
Business Growth and Expansion
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the NHS and other contracts (government & private social care services) across the UK
- Develop strategies to secure new business within hospitals and other NHS healthcare facilities
- Utilise the NHS framework to expand Moonrise's presence in the healthcare sector
Tender and Bid Management
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and bids for all contracts
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals
- Oversee the entire bid process from initial opportunity identification to contract award
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS and other clients' decision-makers and influencers in person and via email and via telephone
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customers
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery
Contract Negotiation and Review
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with NHS clients
- Review and analyse contract documents to ensure favourable terms for Moonrise
- Work with legal teams when necessary for complex contract matters
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Develop and implement KPIs for NHS contracts
- Monitor contract performance and produce regular reports for senior management
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all NHS contracts comply with relevant regulations and standards
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with NHS contracts
- Stay updated on changes in NHS policies and regulations that may impact contracts
Financial Management
- Work with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition for all contracts
- Monitor contract profitability and identify opportunities for cost optimisation
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes related to all contracts
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field desirable but not essential
- Minimum 3 years of experience of NHS contract management
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing NHS contracts
- Strong understanding of NHS structures, processes, and the NHS framework
- Experience in bid and tender management for healthcare services
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and financial acumen
