As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations within our industrial manufacturing unit. Reporting to the group, you will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimise financial resources.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop annual budgets and forecasts, aligning them with business objectives.

Monitor budget performance and provide insights to senior management.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular financial reports, highlighting key metrics and trends.

Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Compliance and Controls:

Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

Implement and maintain internal controls.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with the group and other departments to provide financial insights.

Present financial results to senior leadership.

Competitive salary range: £55,000 to £62,000 per annum.

Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or QBE
- Proven experience in financial management within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
