Compliance Manager

Posted by Bond Moran Recruitment Ltd.

Compliance Manager - 12 months - Surrey/Hybrid - up to £85,000 p.a.

Do you want to be part of a growing, driven business that puts customer engagement and company values at its core?

Would you like the opportunity to build on and develop Compliance and Regulatory matters for the business, and to be given the autonomy to really shape the function?

Do you have previous experience working within the Professional Services sector?

If so, this could be the ideal role for you.

Bond Moran Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with this highly successful and growing business that prides itself on the quality and standard of its offering and delivers an exceptional service to its clients. Company values are of the utmost importance, and you will be joining an extremely collaborative culture where you can genuinely put your stamp on the role.

The organisation requires an articulate, experienced, Compliance Manager to take ownership of the function and to support the Directors with a broad spectrum of compliance and regulatory matters for a period of maternity cover.

Working closely with their highly engaging and supportive Finance Director, this role will suit an experienced, commercially astute Compliance Manager, who has strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders as well as having a 'hands-on' mentality.

The successful applicant will take responsibility for managing all aspects of Compliance including annual returns; liaison with external bodies throughout the year; act as a sounding board on any regulatory questions and issues that may arise; responsible for procedures and processes; overseeing financial transactions; and designing policies around anti-money laundering, bribery and criminality.

You will also be responsible for GDPR, data processing and data management. You will ensure that any queries are addressed within appropriate and legal timeframes, consult on privacy breaches and manage training for internal employees. You will ensure that any legislative changes are kept up to date.

The above is by no means a definitive list of duties and this role requires an individual who can be flexible and dynamic in their approach, and who can identify and implement ideas and improvements.

You will have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build solid relationships.

The recruitment process is likely to move swiftly so if you're keen to know more about this role, please apply ASAP.
