Collections Administrator

Your new company
My client, a successful national organisation with 33 offices across the UK, is looking to recruit a Collections Administrator to join their business on a permanent basis due to growth.
Your new role

  • Collection of overdue accounts as agreed with the Collections Supervisor/Manager.
  • Correspond daily with customers both verbally and in writing.
  • Advise and regularly update relevant staff of any significant collections case and its progress.
  • Reschedule customer agreements when appropriate and agreed.
  • Liaise with insurance companies, repossession agents, legal representation and Insolvency Practitioners.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate, you must have the following:

  • You have good telephone manners.
  • You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • You have the ability to adapt to working styles depending on customers and situations.
  • You'll have a proactive mindset and strong initiative.
  • You are highly numerate with a strong analytical ability.

Desirable skills:

  • Have prior experience in a collections environment.
  • Have experience in an asset finance or financial services environment.
  • Have experience of using Alfa software.
