Electrical Installation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Installation Technician to undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance across College Workshops & Tools. This role is crucial in ensuring operational, regulatory, and statutory compliance, while maintaining high standards of record-keeping for all maintenance activities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conducting planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks throughout College facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
- Keeping detailed and accurate records of maintenance work.
- Collaborating with specialist contractors and other building engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery and maximum system uptime.
- Communicating effectively with teams to keep them informed of maintenance progress and any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of operational, regulatory, and statutory compliance in the field of electrical installation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various learners and lecturers.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
