Electrical Installation Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Installation Technician to undertake planned preventative and reactive maintenance across College Workshops & Tools. This role is crucial in ensuring operational, regulatory, and statutory compliance, while maintaining high standards of record-keeping for all maintenance activities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conducting planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks throughout College facilities.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
  • Keeping detailed and accurate records of maintenance work.
  • Collaborating with specialist contractors and other building engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery and maximum system uptime.
  • Communicating effectively with teams to keep them informed of maintenance progress and any issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of operational, regulatory, and statutory compliance in the field of electrical installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with various learners and lecturers.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
