Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team of dedicated professionals committed to student success. This role involves providing safe classroom supervision and supporting primary school pupils students during the absence of regular classroom teachers.
Day to day of the role:
- Supervise classes and ensure a constructive environment is maintained in the absence of the classroom teacher.
- Assist with classroom management and actively engage students in their learning.
- Provide support and guidance to students, helping them understand the work set by the teacher.
- Maintain discipline in line with the school's policies and procedures.
- Respond to any questions from students about process and procedures.
- Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Desirable: Experience working in a school or with young people.
- Ability to exercise authority and work effectively as part of a team.
