- Accurate processing and timely payment of invoices
- Maintaining the purchase ledger
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Handling supplier queries
- Assisting with month-end closing
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
- Adhering to financial regulations and standards
- Collaborating with the wider Accounting and Finance team
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger should have:
- A strong understanding of purchase ledger processes
- Experience working in the Accounting and Finance sector
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player attitude
