Our client is a small dynamic company based in Horley, Surrey, seeking a talented and dedicated Management Accountant to join their team. This role is perfect for an experienced accountant looking to balance their career with other commitments.
This is a part-time opportunity, looking for someone to work 3 days per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities for the Management Accountant
- Payroll Management: Oversee and process company payroll ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- End of Year Audits: Prepare and support end-of-year audit processes.
- Expenses Management: Monitor and process employee expense claims.
- Profit and Loss Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly profit and loss statements.
- Forecasting: Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Commission Payments: Calculate and process sales commission payments.
- Supplier Payments: Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers.
- Credit Control Oversight: Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of receivables.
Key Skills/Requirements for the Management Accountant
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software, including SAGE and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
