Opus people solutions on behalf of Walsall Council have an exciting opportunity for a Occupational Therapy Assistant to join their Team
Length of assignment: Temporary - 3 Months
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate:£16.99 per hour
Location: Walsall
Remote/Office based:
Hybrid working/working from home. Any team meetings supervisions and CPD sessions are face to face. Also we encourage staff to spend time in the office when they first start so they have support around them.
Within the context of self-directed support, personalisation and working as a member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for meeting the assessment, care management and support needs of vulnerable adults the post holder will:
- Manage an independent caseload assessing people with physical disabilities/ sensory impairment/ mental ill health/ learning disabilities.
- Take specific responsibility for the provision of appropriate equipment / minor and major adaptations / assistive technology and the planning/implementation of appropriate reablement programmes.
Previous experience necessary and must be a car user
