Description
Th main responsibilities of this accounts payable assistant role will be:
- Accurately process and validate invoices on a daily basis
- Manage and resolve vendor queries efficiently
- Maintain and update financial records regularly
- Liaise with other Accounting & Finance team members to ensure data accuracy
- Support monthly and yearly financial close processes
- Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports when required
- Ensure all financial operations adhere to internal policies and legal standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
- At least three years experience in a similar accountancy role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
