Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? Hays Education is seeking a talented individual for a long-term temporary Year 5 supply teaching job at a well-regarded primary academy in the South Lees/Wakefield area.
The school is one of my favourites. I have worked closely with them over the past 15 years. They are two form entry and promote team planning to share the work load and encourage collaboration and sharing ideas. It is a modern building and has excellent facilities to support the learning of children. The school has a long and positive history within the local community and many of the families in the local area. They are also part of a local multi-academy trust.
The role will involve taking on full class teaching responsibility, so it will require someone who is happy to plan, mark and assess the pupils' work and then also be involved in staff meetings and parents' evenings.
Position Details:
Start Date: End of September
Duration: Until Christmas (with potential for permanent role for the right candidate)
Location: South Leeds/Wakefield border
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential, but Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also encouraged to apply.
Must be able to provide 2 teaching or placement references
A passion for teaching and learning, creating engaging lessons to capture pupil's minds
Be able to commit to the class and school until Christmas.
