A prestigious client based in Farnham has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paraplanner to join their expanding business. Working with a fantastic portfolio of clients and within a friendly and well-established team, you will be playing a crucial role in supporting the financial advisors and ensuring the high quality of their advice to clients.

Senior Paraplanner - About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into and supporting the current team of financial advisors. This well-established firm is looking for someone who wants to accelerate their career in the world of Paraplanning and to be a pillar of support within their organisation. This vacancy is available simply as a result of the success of the business, and they are looking to bring someone onboard who enjoys being busy and thrives under job satisfaction. No two days will be the same and attention to detail is imperative to the role.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct detailed research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations
  • Prepare complex financial reports, including cash flow projections and investment portfolio analysis, using their Intelligent Office software system
  • Assist in the development of financial plans tailored to clients' individual needs and goals
  • Collaborate with financial advisors to implement strategies and monitor progress towards financial objectives
  • Utilise IT systems proficiently to maintain accurate client records and generate reports
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to client queries promptly and professionally

The successful Senior Paraplanner will have/be:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a similar role within financial services
  • Either fully or almost fully qualified Diploma Level 4 CII or equivalent
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, demonstrating strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient or at least familiar with the system Intelligent Office (also known as IO)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
