The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is seeking a passionate and technically adept Risk Analyst to join our dedicated Risk and Control team in London.

As a Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our risk management framework, ensuring that ICAEW not only anticipates risks but also harnesses opportunities to foster innovation and growth. Your work will also directly contribute to developing and embedding a robust risk awareness culture across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Risk Function to develop and build a risk awareness culture, and an understanding of the value of risk management in ICAEW across all levels and teams.

Work collaboratively with all departments and Key Stakeholders to support the risk function in identifying, managing and reporting Principal, Corporate and Departmental risks.

Support the business areas in the implementation of the risk management processes and procedures, taking the lead on agreed administrative elements.

Who You Are:

A technically minded individual with demonstrable experience of undertaking risk associated activities and processes or working in a similar level role.

Experience in working with risk methodologies and techniques to support the updating of risk registers, compilation of risk reports and papers to Committees and Boards.

Proven administrative capabilities and an effective communicator who is able to be proactive in driving risk awareness across an organisation.

Collaborative in supporting business in the collation of risk, control and action updates.

Ability to analyse changes in risk data/information and effectively share and escalate to the Risk Officer as appropriate.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Microsoft Teams and use of SharePoint as a collaborative tool

Experience in capturing information in real time through various mediums.

Preferred:

A risk or risk related qualification or working toward one.

Experience or a good understanding of ICAEW processes
