Job Description:
Driver Hire is seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for both night and day shifts. This role offers the potential for various types of work across different locations, including Crawley, Redhill, and Horsham. Responsibilities include trunking as well as deliveries in London and surrounding areas depending of the planner in that day. Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for deliveries and trunking
- Perform deliveries in London and surrounding areas
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Experience driving a Class 1 vehicle for deliveries and trunking
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to start immediately
