Customer Service / Logistics Admin

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Manufacturing business in Jarrow. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for their customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service. This position requires strong communication skills, as you will be handling calls, emails, and tickets related to customer queries. Additionally, you will manage logistics by dealing with couriers, logging their performance, overseeing service level agreements, and making claims for damages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with couriers for timely deliveries.
  • Log and monitor courier performance.
  • Oversee service level agreements to ensure high standards.
  • Process courier claims for damaged goods.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a variety of customer queries.
  • Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Basic administrative and logistical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software used for customer service and logistics.
