A fantastic primary school in central Stockport is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a child with autism who is working at a lower ability level.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), specifically autism
- Familiarity with supporting children who have English as an Additional Language (EAL)
- Ideally, knowledge of the Makaton scheme of learning
- Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of the needs of individual learners
This full-time, long-term role is set to start in October 2024 or ASAP.
