Support Worker - Learning Disabilities - Full Time

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with learning disabilities to reach their full potential? As a Support Worker for Learning Disabilities at Eskmills, you will play a crucial role in meeting the diverse needs of our service users according to their personalised care plans. Your responsibilities will include providing flexible, around-the-clock support, including sleepover duties as required, and managing risk assessments to ensure a safe living environment.

Beyond daily care, you will assist service users with their hobbies and other activities they wish to explore, helping them engage in meaningful pursuits and maintain independence. Your role involves helping with daily tasks, work, and financial management, while keeping accurate records and liaising with families. Promoting equality, choice, and protection from abuse is central to your duties, as is ensuring that emergency systems are effective and reliable.

You will also contribute to service evaluations and your own professional development, staying current with social care practices. Embracing and reflecting CrossReach's Christian values, you will lead worship and start meetings with prayer. Ideally, you will have an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and relevant experience, alongside basic computer skills and a strong commitment to our Christian ethos.
