Principal Software Engineer

Paying up to £80p/h (Inside IR35)
12-month contract
ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to assist on a Combat Air Project.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical Lead and be responsible for the delivery of software artifacts
- Ensure software is developed and released in line with the company process
- Updating engineering management and key stakeholders on progress
- Attend weekly planning meetings & Review and Retrospective meeting
- Updates to DOORS requirements modules & DOORS test specification module
- Updates to the relevant Design
- C++11 Code updates
- Updates to unit an integration tests
- Execution of host and target test suites
Experience required:
- C++11
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2019
- Wind River Workbench, Linux SDK
- Windows host-based development
- VxWorks 7 and Linux target RTOS development
- DOORS requirements management
- Agile development using Azure DevOps ALM
