Residential Facilities Manager

Cobalt is recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing SME property business who are looking to hire a dedicated Facilities Manager for a high-end residential development in West London. Our client is committed to excellence and sustainability, and is looking at proactively upgrading the estate to keep it at the pinnacle of property management, which the FM will play a key role in driving forward.

This newly created role reports directly to the Estate Director and offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of delivering a proactive maintenance service - shaping and delivering on a CAPEX programme aimed to comprehensively upgrade the buildings and enhance sustainability even further.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive 10-year maintenance plan, ensuring long-term sustainability and operational efficiency for the estate.
  • Oversee the upgrading and maintenance of buildings and plant room equipment, utilizing your expertise in hard services to drive innovation and enhance performance.
  • Identify and implement measures to improve sustainability, supporting the company's commitment to environmental stewardship.
  • Lead a team of M&E contractors, including a strong influence in procurement where appropriate fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK health and safety requirements, particularly with regards to fire safety.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager with strong technical knowledge in hard services and maintenance from either a residential or hospitality-based background. You will a strong track record in overseeing CAPEX works, contractor management, and also stakeholder management. Whilst this role is not customer facing, you will liaise directly with the client having a strong input into the strategic direction for the estate.
