Overview:
We are looking for a conscientious and self-motivated individual with a keen interest in HR and people-related policies, processes, and systems, who is looking to develop a long-term career in a HR generalist role.

The HR Apprentice will work closely with members of the HR and Payroll team within Atech Cloud, managing and processing confidential people data, utilising our online HR and Payroll system.
This is a critical role within the team and will therefore be directly visible within the wider business, working with team members at all levels and within all teams, both in the UK and internationally.

The successful person will be a self-starter, polite, well mannered, a team player, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities (will include but not limited to:)

  • Support the HR Team in the continuous development of the Payroll & HR System including data cleansing to maintain the integrity of our people data
  • Monitor and manage the central HR inbox using Microsoft Outlook, being the first point of contact for any HR related queries
  • Respond to correspondence, telephone calls, e-mails as required

You will be trained how to use all of our systems to become a super user, enabling you to support the wider business.
You will be responsible for maintaining the HR system dashboard to track and report on key people metrics.

Desirable skills:

  • Good technical ability, with previous use of systems and particularly Microsoft Office packages advantageous
  • You will be able to think independently and do what is required to ensure the highest levels of work is produced to often tight deadlines
  • You will also have a keen eye for detail and an ability to follow processes
  • We are looking for someone who easily smiles but brings a solid professionalism to everything that they do

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
