Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a rapidly growing engineering and construction business to support with the recruitment of an Interim Financial Accountant based in North London. This is a 6-month contract role, offering £350 - £375 per day (Umbrella), and is 100% office-based.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties as Interim Financial Accountant will include:
- Supporting the year-end close process.
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Leading the audit process and acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Providing support to management accounts and the budgeting process.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
- A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
- Trained in audit practice or hold previous experience of supporting year-end audit processes.
- The rate of £350 - £375 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
