Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator

Are you a skilled Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in financial technology? Our client, a company powering businesses of all sizes to make, take, and manage payments, is seeking a talented professional to join their team in Manchester on a 12-month contract. This is a fantastic chance to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment, taking responsibility for providing an exceptional onboarding experience for new hires.

As a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator, you will collaborate closely with the Global Operations Lead, Talent Acquisition Team, Technology Teams, and various Business functions. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a seamless onboarding process, from raising a recruitment requisition to preparing for the new hire's first day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Raising a Requisition:

Work with the Hiring Manager to create and submit a Job Requisition in Workday.
Manage the internal approvals process to secure requisition approval within the agreed SLA.

- Provide administrative support:

Order necessary equipment for new hire's Day 1 preparations.
Facilitate the application for all required accesses, such as VPN, Building Access, and bespoke access.
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to capture requisition requirements and relay essential information between the Hiring Manager and relevant teams.
Act as a point of contact for hiring managers, partnering with the appropriate teams to address their queries.

Development Opportunities:

Play a key role in the onboarding journey.
Collaborate with the Global recruitment team and contribute to an international Operations team.

Skills and Background:

  • Experience working in a recruitment/onboarding environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage complex administration activities in a challenging, customer-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally experience with HR/recruitment systems such as Workday.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling comfortable interaction with colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong record management skills, including progress tracking through databases or Excel spreadsheets.
  • Customer-oriented with well-developed client/customer skills.
  • Familiarity with working to Service Level Agreements.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • A team player with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Stakeholder management experience.
