Seeking a Skilled HR Manager to Spearhead HR Operations at Sheffield's Newest Hotel!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the selection of top-tier talent and seamless integration into the team.
- Manage employee relations issues professionally and in compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and high levels of employee satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Handle disciplinary actions and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
- Partner with department managers to address staffing needs and performance management concerns.
- Whilst the first 6 months will be predominantly spent at the new opening in Sheffield, there will be an expectation to travel to other hotels within the region.
Requirements:
- Minimum CIPD Level 5 or a related HR certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
