Hotel HR Manager

Seeking a Skilled HR Manager to Spearhead HR Operations at Sheffield's Newest Hotel!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the selection of top-tier talent and seamless integration into the team.
  • Manage employee relations issues professionally and in compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture and high levels of employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Partner with department managers to address staffing needs and performance management concerns.
  • Whilst the first 6 months will be predominantly spent at the new opening in Sheffield, there will be an expectation to travel to other hotels within the region.

Requirements:

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 or a related HR certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems.
