About Us: Our client is a well-established law firm specializing in property transactions. They are currently seeking a paralegal to join their property team.
Job Description: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paralegal to join their Property Team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year experience within a property team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire sale process for new build properties, from initial instruction to completion.
- Issue contracts and leases to buyer's solicitors and provide access to site packs for enquiries.
- Respond to enquiries with comprehensive knowledge, liaising with clients as necessary.
- Approve mortgage offers in line with firm requirements.
- Facilitate the exchange of contracts and set completion dates.
- Submit bills and draft completion statements for clients and buyer's solicitors.
- Issue notices to complete and handover documents when properties are ready.
- Handle requisitions from the Land Registry post-completion.
- Address various queries from clients and buyer's solicitors via email.
- Ensure client interests are protected and adhere to anti-fraud and anti-money laundering protocols.
Qualifications:
- CILEX qualified
- Proven experience in property transactions
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
