Deutsche Bank are looking for an experienced Java developer to join our Enterprise Data Services Engineering team. You will be part of a dynamic cross-functional team that is responsible for shaping the future of our cutting edge enterprise-wide data management application. As an experienced developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of Java-based server side application services, and fully utilise your development skills on your daily work.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java application services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
  • Conduct code reviews, and actively contribute to a collaborative coding environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal performance of applications.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to continually enhance our development practices
  • Lead efforts in code refactoring, system optimization, and performance tuning

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in Java development with a deep understanding of core concepts
  • Solid knowledge of Spring Framework, and other relevant frameworks
  • Proficient in web services development (RESTful) and microservices architecture
  • Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL database management system
  • Proficient with GIT or other version control systems
