This is an excellent role for someone with a proven track record in monthly reporting and Financial Accounting, looking to make a difference through the invaluable provision of management information. For the right person, the client is offering:
Up to £48,000 plus excellent benefits
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple companies in the group
- Preparation of statutory financial reports
- Support in collation of transactional information provided by the finance assistant
- Assist with payroll as needed
- Provide support with external audit as required
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Liaise with business managers and senior stakeholders in providing essential information and guidance as required
- Ensure statutory accounting requirements are adhered to
- Preparation of Tax returns
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by the finance manager
Person specification:
- Working knowledge of: producing monthly management accounts and financial accounting, and statutory accounting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier or qualified
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting processes
