Business Process Analyst (Data Driven Processes)

Our client is a leading Renewable B2B Energy Supplier , recruiting for a****Business Process Analyst** to support the business to improve risk control and operational customer benefits. Key will be to improve existing process mapping and optimisation, design of new processes and enhancement of controls and governance. Working with operations that are data -intensive and complex calculations, the ideal candidate will have the ability to understand data driven processes, have technical experience to optimise processes coupled with strong stakeholder skills. Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial management to review, refine and document the customer process life cycle using process mapping with a strategic, risk-based approach.
  • Work with operational teams to design new or improve existing processes, gathering requirements for both current and future processes.
  • Identify and assess process risks and controls, recommend appropriate measures and governance, and document process-related issues while conducting root cause analysis.
  • Challenge and influence changes to existing workflows when necessary.
  • Create engaging training documents on industry processes and regulations.
  • Train all Commercial Dept employees to ensure consistent understanding of core processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding employees on process-related inquiries.
  • Drive positive change and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensure new employee induction with HR and collaborate with IT to prepare employees for future changes.

Skills and experience required:

  • Strong MS Office skills are essential, primarily in Viso, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience in a similar process or business readiness role is essential, with evidence of working with data-driven processes.
  • Experience of process mapping, process optimisation and a solution focused mindset.
  • Previous experience of creating and delivering training content to employees.
  • A formal business process qualification will be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation abilities.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + 5% Bonus (FTC 9-12mths)
