Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our students, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with the school menu and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and school administration.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a school or similar environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for cooking and providing healthy meals for children.
