We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, Fully Qualified Financial Accounting Manager, to join our clients growing Finance team! Our client is a leading, globally recognised organisation within their sector, and they are now seeking a talented Financial Accounting Manager to join their team.
Key responsibilities:
- As the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and overseeing the Financial Accounting team (6), consisting of both part and fully qualified accountants.
- Your team will be responsible for the successful production of audit packs through to the final statutory accounts, liaising with auditors, and preparing group consolidations.
- You will manage the audit process, including the changeover to new lead auditors and oversee the consolidation process.
- You will be motivated and keen to improve the quality of group statutory accounts, and comfortable liaising with both internal and external auditors to improve the process.
- You will be a hands-on and collaborative leader, able to work well across other departments within the team.
Key skills:
- Fully Qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with prior experience of Audit.
- Previous experience working within a similar Group reporting role for another large business with group consolidations would be desirable.
- Good technical knowledge UK GAAP / IFRS
- Strong communication skills, and highly motivated to make improvements.
