Team: Team made up of 11 very experienced friendly Conveyancing Professionals

Salary: up to £29,000

About Our Client:

A medium sized, multi-service law firm specialising in Residential Property, Commercial Property, Litigation, Family Law, Private Client and more.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking an experienced and friendly Legal Secretary to join their busy Conveyancing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in secretarial duties such as opening matters, AML checks, liaising with clients, dealing with calls and emails as well as other day to day secretarial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working in a team environment supporting fee earners
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors and lenders
  • Diary Management
  • Dealing with incoming post
  • Being the first point of contact for clients via phone or in person
  • Opening new matters
  • Archiving
  • Dealing with all new emails
  • Using Land Registry portal

Qualifications + Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-years experience as a Legal Secretary within Conveyancing
  • Experience with Land Registry and Property knowledge
  • Communication and electronic skills
  • Proven ability to support a team and fee earners
  • Friendly and pragmatic approach to clients and solicitors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
