Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Finance Manager to join a Wholesale Business in London on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract paying £70,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience). This role offers a hybrid working model with 3 days working in their offices.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly accounting cycle and ensure timely management reports.
- Manage online banking facilities and inventory valuation.
- Enhance financial processes and controls, supporting annual audits.
- Handle daily treasury functions and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure timely management of the Purchase Ledger and adherence to expense policies.
- Develop and manage the finance team, conducting appraisals and providing necessary training.
- Support the Financial Controller and build strong working relationships across the organisation.
- Develop team capabilities to meet business objectives and manage workload effectively.
To be suitable for this role you must have the following:
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Proven experience in managing and developing finance teams.
- Accountable for finance team processes and controls.
- Background in a related industry is desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Capable of data collation, reporting, trend analysis, and making improvement recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
