We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our small yet experienced finance team at our head office. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the finance department, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Accurately enter incoming invoices on the accounting system, ensuring correct allocation to departments and matching with Purchase Orders or approved documentation.
  • Follow up on invoices awaiting approval from departmental managers.
  • Reconcile purchase records with supplier statements.
  • Process, code, and allocate sales invoices and receipts.
  • Pursue outstanding accounts in line with company procedures.
  • Handle petty cash reimbursements and reconciliations.
  • Process all bank payments and receipts daily and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Raise payments to suppliers within agreed credit terms and manage client support payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven successful experience within a finance role.
  • Strong administrative skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Positive team player attitude with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexibility and the ability to multitask.
