SEN teaching Assistant – Secondary School – September 2024
Reed Education are recruiting Teaching Assistant for a role starting in September working in specialist provision within a mainstream secondary school in Harrogate.
Ideally, we are seeking experienced Teaching Assistant with a track record supporting children with additional needs. However, we are happy to consider candidates with relevant transferrable experience in fields such as sports coaching, behaviour support workers and youth workers.
Working full-time in term time, in this role, under teacher guidance, you will be providing intervention support and 1:1 assistance for students with special needs and lower ability levels, including working students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia and SEMH.
This will be temporary positions initially, with the potential for permanent employment after a trial period.
