I am delighted to be supporting a large organisation with the appointment of a Procurement Manager to support them and manage all indirect procurement activities from a category management perspective.
This role, which will manage a small team, will take responsibility for leading the procurement activities from initial invite to tender, contract negotiation through to onboarding and supplier management. You will have strong contract management skills as well as negotiation skills and be able to manage and develop supplier relationships to ensure the best value.
As a seasoned procurement professional with CIPS (level 6 ideally), you will work with the wider organisation to understand their buying requirements and work to research and develop an effective supply chain that reaches the wider organisation's needs. You will work to analyse spending and ensure the best value from contracts. As a proven leader, you will work to develop your own wider team effectively.
