Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Near Hatfield - Hertfordshire
Hours: 7.30am to 4.30pm - Monday - Friday
Salary: £25k - £26k per year
Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join the team. The Successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of our Warehouse!
Job Responsibility:
- Picking and packing
- Unloading of deliveries
- Assist in compiling daily reports
- Keep the management informed of any problems
- Working as a team member with good work ethic
- Attention to detail when completing tasks and high accuracy levels
- Ensuring you play a part in a safe working environment / house keeping
- Receiving and booking in deliveries - keeping the warehouse organised
- Working to quality standards
- Provide cover for annual leave and sickness
- Carry out periodic stock checks in line with company schedule
- Deal with reactive client enquiries both internally an-d externally - there will be occasions that the role is customer facing
- Forklift counterbalance required for the position
- Must be able to lift up to 50kg
- Working at a height on occasions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the role or similar
- Uk driving license required
- Self motivated and disciplined
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Warehouse experience
- Computer literate
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 30kg
- Trustworthy and honest
- Hold a current valid counterbalance forklift license
