Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Warrington
Salary: £14.15 per hour
Shifts: Monday- Thursday - 14.30 and 23.30 and Saturday 05:00 - 14.00
Contract; Temporary to Permanent
Our client, a market leader within the supply chain industry, who provides end to end solutions used by hundreds of UK and worldwide businesses seeks an experienced 'Warehouse Team
Leader.'
As the Warehouse Team Leader, your duties will include;
- Ensure the efficient and smooth control of warehouse operations.
- Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
- Manage team's performance against KPI's and the customers SLA's.
- Assist with staff development, absence, and performance management.
- Investigate any discrepancies following through to an acceptable conclusion.
- Produce reports within given times.
- Keep up to date with all operational procedures and company developments.
- Responsibility for good housekeeping and security of premises, attending out of hours when necessary.
- Adhere to health and safety and ISO standards.
As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will have the following skills /experience ;
- A minimum of 2 years team leader /supervisory experience within a distribution environment.
- Must hold an in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence which is RTITB/ITSSAR accredited.
- Ability to meet demanding KPI targets.
- Computer literate, ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
- Familiar with IT Microsoft works.
- A basic understanding of absence, conduct and performance management.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- An excellent organiser with an approachable manner.
- Enthusiastic personality.
- Full UK Driving Licence
