Our client have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with previous IT experience to join their team within a newly created position. This opportunity would suit someone who has previous experience within IT, as well as someone who has a creative interest, as this person will be helping with photography at events.
Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
Based on site in Rickmansworth
Some of the duties will include:
- Review office and site IT helpdesk tickets and ensure they are addressed within a timely manner
- Assist with IT support, monitoring the IT service desk
- Assist the team and management, with the purchase and setup of new IT equipment
- Setup and support of laptops, desktops and mobile devices
- Disposal of redundant IT equipment
- Assist with completion of new starter and leaver procedures
- Provide ad-hoc support to the team
- Provide on-site support at locations as required
- Support users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Creating FAQ and instruction guides as required, including internal training sessions
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects
- Good awareness of fundamental cyber security and GDPR principles and practices
- In-house photography/video/drone assistant
- Assist with photoshoots and image processing
- Assist with video shoots and video processing and compiling.
The suitable candidate:
- Previous experience within an IT position with a passion for technology
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to liaise with users at all levels
- Good communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Passion for learning new platforms
- Interest in photography and video would a bonus
- Experience with photoshop would be a benefit
