Nursery Manager
- Annual Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Location: Three Bridges

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our nursery, ensuring adherence to our policies, procedures, and the philosophy. The ideal candidate will be a positive role model, managing and motivating the team to create a happy working environment while ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.
Day to Day of the role:
- Implement and act in accordance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
- Maintain high standards within the nursery regarding the environment and resources.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Directors and conduct supervisory meetings.
- Plan and implement activities based on children's interests and developmental needs.
- Develop professional relationships with parents and work with Key Persons and outside agencies to support individual children's needs.
- Manage health and safety responsibilities, ensuring a safe environment for children.
- Oversee operational management of the nursery, including budget and expenditure.
- Lead the team, manage staffing levels, conduct appraisals, and oversee training.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, team members, and external agencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Childcare and education qualification equivalent to Level 3.
- Maths level 2.
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualifying experience in a Daycare Setting.
- Experience leading and supporting a team.
- Current safeguarding training.
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework and Development Matters.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- IT skills and the ability to use own initiative.
- Kind and caring nature.
Desirable Criteria:
- Degree in Early Years Childcare and Education.
- Management qualification.
