Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary patient examinations to assess the patient's condition.
- Refer patients to other departments such as osteopathy, radiology, and cardiology.
- Receive patients from Paramedics and take over their care.
- Share information and updates with family members.
- Analyze test results.
- Take detailed and accurate notes.
- Apply dressings and administer pain relief, antibiotics, and other medications as required.
- Complete all necessary discharge paperwork.
- Maintain care standards in accident and emergency.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in an ED department.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
