We are now looking for a Business Development Manager (Network Transport) to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager (Network Transport), you will create and sell logistics solutions to businesses, focusing on new clients and revenue growth.

drive revenue growth and manage key relationships with new clients, as well as explore new opportunities within existing client relationships.

You will support the company sales strategy by targeting new customers, particularly within the consumer electronics and white goods sectors, managing key stages of the sales cycle from initial contact to RFQ project management and contract negotiations.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including solution design, operations, and finance, you will design and deliver customised logistics solutions that meet clients' specific needs.

Additionally, you will:

- Proactively seek new leads and attend industry events
- Monitor sales activity to ensure targets are met or exceeded
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management
- Effectively utilise CRM for efficient management of customer relationships
- Support the development and deployment of more sustainable sales solutions

About You

To be considered as a Business Development Manager (Network Transport), you will need:

- A proven track record of success in sales roles within the transport industry
- Experience managing customer RFQ projects
- The ability to lead a cross-functional team to deliver transport solutions
- The ability to influence at different levels of the organisation
- In-depth knowledge of transport operations, including both dedicated and networked transport models
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and argue effectively both visually and verbally
- A full, valid driving licence and the ability to travel
