Purchase Ledger Clerk

A Purchase Ledger Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk is required to join a manufacturing company based in the Hyde area. A full-time office-based role, working in a busy finance team reporting to the Company Accountant.

As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will be -

  • Matching, checking and coding invoices and delivery notes
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Calculating VAT payments
  • Making payments via BACS
  • Processing employee expenses and managing petty cash
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Handling any related queries

Ideally, you will have experience of -

  • Previously working in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Working in foreign currency
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Accurate, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Working hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
  • Starting salary of £27,300p/a
