Science Technician - Secondary School in Southwark
We are seeking a dedicated Science Technician to join the science department at a secondary school in Southwark. In this role, you will work within the lab to support both the Head of Science and the science team, ensuring smooth and safe running of experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up lab equipment with correct safety precautions
- Support students during practicals, ensuring they understand the experiments
- Assist the class teacher during lessons and practical demonstrations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
- Perform demonstrations to illustrate scientific principles
Requirements:
- A science degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology
- Previous experience working in a school environment is highly beneficial
