This newly created role of H&S and Compliance Manager is an excellent opportunity for a health & safety professional to join an established organisation based in Waterbeach.
Within this varied position, you'll be:
- Ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety policy and practice is monitored, maintained and implemented
- Attending monthly site visits
- Assisting in identifying training needs for employees and booking as required
- Preparing the monthly H&S and compliance report
- Providing assistance for Consultants on a regular basis for audit and training requirements
- Assistance for managers to implement health & safety systems and procedures to meet specific requirements such as accident reporting and COSHH in a consistent and effective manner
- Carrying out investigations of accidents, understanding circumstances and causes of accidents and taking necessary steps to prevent a recurrence
- Overseeing regular monitoring of environmental impacts and aspects
- ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 - ensuring standards are adhered to and consistently high levels maintained
- Ensuring the compliance management system is maintained and updated
- Working with external consultants to populate the compliance software system
- Providing assistance to line managers
- Highlighting areas in need of development or opportunities for increased efficiency
- Carbon Reporting & Science Based Targets
If you have health & safety, compliance and environmental experience, along with NEBOSH - we'd like to hear from you!
Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards would be useful.
Being highly organised, with good attention to detail is important along with being personable, a strong communicator and flexible.
