Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN TA you will be getting involved in an interactive and practical curriculum in order to promote independence and improve social and learning development.

This role is needed on a full time basis (Monday to Friday), term time only. We are looking for an outgoing and compassionate SEN TA to join a friendly and supportive team who will help you to reach your full potential. This setting is long standing in the community, Ofsted outstanding and is a safe and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
  • Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
  • Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
  • Supervising and monitoring behaviour
  • Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:

  • Be able to build positive and appropriate relationships with students with SEN and teachers
  • Have a passion for working with SEN children
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
