In line with their growth, they are on the lookout for an organized, detail-oriented, and versatile professional to oversee their human resources, financial records, and office administration.

Role Overview:

As a multi-disciplinary specialist, you will be assisting the financial team of their company, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring that their office operations run smoothly. Your expertise will be critical in integrating the functions of HR, bookkeeping, and office management to support our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Human Resources: Manage all aspects of HR from payroll and employee records to coordinating the recruitment process, onboarding, and offboarding, while ensuring compliance with legal standards including contract.
  • Lead the recruitment process from end to end, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee development programs, performance management, and retention strategies to foster a productive and positive workplace.Ensure all HR practices comply with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Office Administration: Oversee daily administrative operations, manage office supplies inventory, liaise with vendors, and ensure that the workplace environment is well-organized and efficient.

Employee Contract Management: Spearhead the drafting, negotiation, and management of employee contracts

to ensure they are fair, transparent, and compliant with UK employment laws.

  • Monitor and update contracts and employment agreements in response to changes in legislation or company policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to employee contracts, providing guidance and resolving any issues or disputes that arise.

Required Skill Set:

  • Extensive experience in HR management with a specialized focus on employee contract negotiation and administration within the landscape design, construction, or a similar creative industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law, financial regulations, and administrative best practices in the UK.
  • Proficiency in HR as well as office management systems and procedures.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships.
  • Discretion with confidential information and a commitment to ethical practices.
  • Deep understanding of UK employment legislation and best practices in contract management.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, creative environment.
  • Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a role combining HR, Contract and administrative responsibilities.
