Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (until December)
Location: Wolverhampton
Rate of Pay: £25 - £35 per hour
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for UAL Level 2 and 3 students.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Use a variety of assessment tools and approaches to measure student learning, provide feedback, and support academic progression.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the institution.
- Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings, and contribute to curriculum development.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, district policies, and school regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A degree in Media Studies, Creative Media, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Experience teaching UAL Level 2 and 3 courses or similar qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
